Information we process

Depending on how you use the marketplace, information may include your name, email address, phone number, account credentials, delivery or pickup addresses, seller/store details, product listings and uploads, buyer–seller messages, orders, support requests, and payment-related transaction records. The Android app may register a device identifier and Firebase messaging token to deliver notifications. If you choose Google sign-in, we receive account information supplied by Google for authentication.

Why we use it

We use this information to create and secure accounts; operate product listings, search, checkout and orders; enable buyer–seller communication; handle seller verification, safety reports and support; send relevant account and marketplace notifications; prevent misuse; and meet applicable legal obligations.

Service providers and sharing

To operate the service, information may be processed by hosting and infrastructure providers, Paystack for supported payment processing, Google for sign-in where selected, and Firebase/Google for push notifications. Sellers and buyers may see transaction or communication details needed to complete their interactions. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect rights and safety. Payment card entry may be handled by the payment provider rather than by our own website.

Security and retention

We use access controls and other safeguards intended to protect information, although no online service can guarantee absolute security. We retain information as needed for marketplace operation, customer service, safety, dispute handling, recordkeeping and legal obligations. Some transaction records may need to be retained after account deletion where permitted or required by law.

Children
